A 14-year-old female patient suffered from left proximal tibia telangiectatic osteosarcoma. a Prechemotherapy PET/CT revealed metabolically active FDG left proximal tibial mass lesion (SUV = 12.4). b After the end of treatment, PET/CT revealed no pathological uptake (SUV = 1.8). The patient underwent limb salvage surgery and surgical pathology revealed good histological response (100% tissue necrosis). c No corresponding morphologic improvement was seen between the premanagement MRI (left) and postmanagement one (right)
