Black blood static images of the liver & heart acquired at different 8 echo times (1.6-18.7ms) reveals a significant decrement in liver signals with measured values of (T2*: 1.1 ms & LIC: 28.91 mg/g) and normal heart signals with normal (T2*: 43.9 ms & MIC: 0.45 mg/g). The measured serum ferritin was 7000 ng/ml. Findings are consistent with severe hepatic iron deposition with normal cardiac findings
