Axial fat-saturated T2-weighted MR image for the assessment of the lateral trochlear inclination angle. The first line (arrow) was drawn tangential to the subchondral bone of the lateral trochlear facet, and a second line (arrowhead) was drawn tangential to the posterior aspect of the femoral condyles. The angle between the two lines was defined as the inclination angle (white dashed line). An inclination angle < 11° was considered as an indicator of trochlear dysplasia [8]
