Axial fat-saturated T2-weighted MR image for assesment of the asymmetry of the femoral trochlear facets. The percentage of the asymmetry of the medial facet (M) and the lateral facet (L) lengths was calculated as (M/L × 100%). A trochlear facet asymmetry ratio < 40% was considered as an indicator of trochlear dysplasia [9]
