From: Predicting lung fibrosis in post-COVID-19 patients after discharge with follow-up chest CT findings

Fifty-five-year-old male: he has DM, HTN, and IHD; peak CT severity score 16; consolidation/crazy-paving score 14. He was admitted to the ICU; laboratory results showed lymphopenia, high CRP, d-dimer, normal serum ferritin, and sensitivity troponin. Steroid was given; length of stay during hospitalization is 30days. Peak CT during admission (ad) showed bilateral consolidation patches more peripheral and at the lower lobes with a crazy-paving appearance. Follow-up CT 3weeks after discharge (eh) showed lung fibrosis with parenchymal bands, coarse reticular pattern, irregular interface, and mild traction bronchiectasis at the anterior segments of both upper lobes and the medial segment of the right middle lobe
