F0 stage: A male patient aged 48 years old with HCV chronic hepatitis and normal AST and ALT. Conventional US reveals the following (a and b): Liver >>smooth surface (score 1), homogeneous echopattern (score 1), smooth hepatic veins (score 1) “cumulated score 3.” No ascites, top normal spleen size, normal portal vein caliber, single GB stone. 2D shear wave elastography (c and d): Velocity median value = 1.40 m/s. Stiffness median value =5.25 kPa. Fibrotest result was 0.23 denoting F0-F1 stage (e)
