F0-F1 stage: A female patient aged 38 years old with HCV chronic hepatitis and elevated AST and ALT. Conventional US reveals the following (a and b): Liver >>wave form surface (score 2), mildly coarse echopattern (score 2), smooth hepatic veins (score 1) “cumulated score 5.” No ascites, normal spleen size, dilated portal vein caliber (14 mm). 2D shear wave elastography (c and d): Velocity median value = 1.49 m/s. Stiffness median value =8.28 kPa. Fibrotest result was 0.5 denoting F2 stage (e)
