A 63-year-old female patient, presenting with a right breast lump. a US showed a right lower inner quadrant. Thickened wall, complex cystic lesion (BIRADS 4). b SWE showed that although the red/hard areas of the lesion occupied < 50%, yet low elasticity of the surroundings was noted (red arrows), suggesting an infiltrative process and the lesion was thus considered as suspicious. The measured Emax was 71kPa and Eratio was 5.4 (considered as malignant). c CE MRI showed irregular rim enhancement with a wash out kinematic curve. d, e DE-MRI showed restricted diffusion, with an ADC value of 1.8 × 103 × mm2/s. Pathology confirmed the malignant nature of the lesion (ADC value showed a false negative result)
