A 47-year-old female patient, not obese (BMI = 23.7 kg/m2), with a history of heavy labor work presented with a sudden onset of posteromedial left knee joint pain with a popping sound that occurred when she was doing housework for 5 months (chronic stage). At the time of injury, plain standing X-ray of the left knee looked normal (a); deteriorated knee joint space narrowing 5 months later on plain X-ray (b) revealed a sign of marked osteoarthritic changes in form of narrow medial joint compartment
