Determination of nature of lesion by CT and MRI in a 25 year old male (A) CT bone algorithm image shows well defined expansile sclerotic lesion giving ground glass appearance involving squamous and mastoid part of left temporal bone. MRI shows expansile sclerotic lesion involving squamous and mastoid part of left temporal bone appearing hypointense on both T1W (B) and T2W (C) images. This was a case of fibrous dysplasia. Both CT and MRI were able to classify the nature of the lesion to be sclerotic in this case
