a–h MRI study for a 30-year-old male with rectal adenocarcinoma of the rectum and received CRT. a–d Sagittal, Coronal and e–f axial T2 WIs (g-h) DWIs revealed: Irregular circumferential mural thickening of the middle and lower rectum is seen reaching maximum thickness of 2.7 cm and extending for 7.6 cm in length, it start 3.8 cm from the anal verge, the mass lesion is seen infiltrating the right aspect of meso-rectal fascia, it elicits intermediate T2 SI with free diffusion. Subtle focus of hyperintense signal on DWIs was noticed at the end of anal canal but not reported as a significant finding
