Dilated form of infiltrative cardiomyopathy secondary to iron overload. Ten-year-old male with thalassemia major presented with signs of heart failure. Short axis and long axis in four- and two-chamber cine images (a, b, and c, respectively) showing marked dilation of both ventricles (LVEDV = 121.6 ml and RVEDV = 140 ml) with global hypokinesia and reduced LVEF (20%) and RVEF (39%).
