TB spine (paradiscal pattern): A 13-year-old girl with backache and acute onset paraplegia. Radiograph thoracolumbar spine AP view (A) reveals destruction of D5-D6 vertebrae with bilateral paravertebral soft tissue abscesses (white arrowheads). On MRI-sagittal T2 (B) coronal STIR (C) and post-contrast axial (D) images demonstrate wedge collapse of D5–D6 vertebrae with loss of intervening disc space with kyphotic deformity (white circle) and peripherally enhancing collection in pre, paravertebral (arrow) with epidural extension and spinal cord compression (black arrow). After anterolateral decompression, Anti Tubercular Treatment (ATT) was started. HPE image (E) shows caseating epitheloid cell granuloma with langerhans’s giant cells and areas of necrosis along with granulation tissue
